Following a safety audit of the foreshore bike path from Elwood to Sandridge, a range of improvements have been made. This horizontal fence at Sandridge has been painted to show up in the dark to indicate that the path veers to the right at this location.

Good to see small improvements such as this implemented. Railings and bollards that blend into the background are a hazard for cyclists.
Just around the corner in front of Life Saving Vic HQ there are also some works going on to realign the bike path.
Yes, the alignment of the path will be improved so that it continues smoothy and without interruption along the Todd Road path.
