I saw that accident after the fact and was wondering if anyone knew how that poor woman was doing?

Thanks!

Thanks Dawn - Unfortunately, I haven't heard. Are you able to say any more about where exactly this happened and what you saw? I only read the newspaper report. Cheers Janet

The accident was right in front at the Genesys gym. There was a crazy loud "pop" that made all of the gym look at the floor to ceiling windows. A massive truck with containers went over the woman's tights. That was the horrible "pop" sound. It pretty much made her tights explode - no blood or cuts, just a sort of mash meet flat on the ground. Really sad and terrible. Most of the women at the gym were hysterical crying. It took about 16 minutes for the ambulance to arrive and there were lots of people around her trying go help. Apparently her partner was in shock walking around the accident not knowing what to do. Someone at the gym today mentioned some newspaper said she didn't make it, but I'm not sure if it's true as I haven't read anything yet.

So terrible. Just out for a pleasant ride and then all changes for her and all around her. Trucks and bikes don't mix well.

One of the most horrible things I have ever seen. I had just come out of port melbourne Vet when I heard her scream and turned to see her getting ran over by the truck. If anyone knows what happened to her I would really like to know. A friend today said she had thought she heard in the news that she lost a leg...

I personally know this woman and she has not lost her life or limbs, long recovery ahead but she will be ok.
