Riding past this part of Beacon Cove today, I heard the familiar sound of superb blue wrens at work.I stopped to have a look and two birds hopped into the garden of one of the town houses.
This is especially exciting as this is certainly the first time these birds have been seen in this part of Port Melbourne, and suggests that this style of landscaping suits their needs.
