Close to the Port, the City and the freeway network, Fishermans Bend is also the largest area of industrial land in the City of Port Phillip. It is changing fast. Heavy industry has made way for an array of business parks and high-tech industries. The strategy will support ongoing engagement by Council with the area, and enable the the Council to be more proactive in building relationships with the businesses and industries there.
There is a lot of work to be done for Council to have an influence on the future evolution of the precinct.
