Garden City resident Gavin Rowson led a large group of interested people on a walk through Garden City and back to the Trugo Club for a feast of photographs, plans and afternoon tea. It was a wonderful gathering of long standing and newer residents around a shared interest in the history of the Bank houses, the Fishermens Bend estate and Port Melbourne. Guidelines for maintaining and renovating these very special heritage places can be accessed from the City of Port Phillip's website here.
